Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry, rolled out into a rectangle
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 small chilli pepper (s)
  • 150 g ham (ham)
  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 3 large clove (s) garlic
  • 4 tablespoon cheese (grated Emmental cheese)
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing
  • little olive oil
  • little wine, red
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion, press the garlic and fry both with a little olive oil.
  2. Also chop the mushrooms, bell pepper, chilli pepper and ham and fry them until the mushrooms are nice and brown. Season to taste with the spices. Then deglaze with a little red wine and let fry a little more until the alcohol has evaporated. Then sprinkle in the grated cheese and remove from the heat. Mix everything and let cool a little.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into squares and place the filling on one half of each. Put the squares together as pockets (I put a little egg on the edges and press them together with a fork) and brush with the egg yolk. Then bake in the preheated oven at 220 degrees (convection) on the middle rail until golden yellow.
  4. Delicious with fresh salads.
