Ingredients

  • 500 g beef (strips)
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 cup yogurt, Turkish
  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • 5 clove (s) garlic
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce or ready-made coleslaw
  • 1 flatbread (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Bake the flatbread in the oven.
  2. Fry the shredded meat; shortly before the end, add the onions cut into rings.
  3. Make tsatsiki yourself: Mix the yoghurt with the grated cucumber (you can draw water so that the yoghurt becomes a little more liquid). Finely chop the garlic of your choice, sprinkle with salt and grind to a paste, also add to the yoghurt. Season with a little salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
  4. Halve the flatbread, hollow out a little. Alternately fill with meat, some iceberg lettuce (or coleslaw) and tzatziki.
  5. If you want, you can of course also fill the whole thing with finely chopped paprika or various other things. But that`s how simple my son likes best.
