Ingredients

  • 4 small chicken schnitzel
  • Olive oil or coconut oil

For the breading:

  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 cup almonds, ground
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • curry
  • Paprika powder

Also:

  • Bacon, 2 to 4 slices
  • 2 slices cheese or cheese
  • 1 tomato (s)
  • 4 slices cucumber (s)
  • 1 handful iceberg lettuce or salad mix
  • Mustard

For the side dish: kohlrabi fries

  • 1 kohlrabi
  • Chilli flakes
  • Paprika powder
  • curry

Ingredients for the sour cream

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup yogurt, Greek
  • parsley
  • chives
  • Olive oil or coconut oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. For the breading, whisk the egg in a flat form and season with paprika powder and curry. Put the almonds with coconut flakes / chips, crumbled a little, in another flat shape.
  2. First turn the chicken schnitzel in the egg and then bread it. Fry the schnitzel in a pan until golden brown. Then fry the bacon strips until crispy.
  3. Sprinkle a schnitzel with lettuce (I took the cut one), place bacon on top and top with a slice of Chest cheese. Put some mustard and sour cream on top, top with 2 - 3 slices of tomatoes and top with the 2nd schnitzel.
  4. For the side dish, cut the kohlrabi into strips, season with chilli flakes, paprika powder and curry and sprinkle with coconut oil. Then fry the strips for 25 - 30 minutes at 180 ° C top / bottom heat in a hot oven.
