Ingredients

  • 1 gr.can chickpeas (800 - 850 g weight)
  • 4 tablespoon sesame paste, (tahini)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, (cumin)
  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder
  • 4 medium garlic clove (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 tablespoon parsley, smooth, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • some parsley, smooth

Instructions

  1. Set aside some chickpeas.
  2. Drain the chickpeas and collect the liquid.
  3. Puree all ingredients except for the parsley and the oil. Keep adding some of the stored liquid until it has a creamy consistency. I need about 100 ml for this.
  4. Stir in the olive oil. Fold in the chopped parsley.
  5. Garnish with the whole chickpeas and a little parsley.
  6. With fresh flatbread.
