White loaf (small dia) or baguette – 200 g
Fish fillet – 250 g
Onions – 100 g
Fresh dill – 1 bunch
Mayonnaise (optional) – to taste
Hard cheese – 80 g
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Milk – 1 glass
Vegetable oil – 1-2 tbsp
Directions
Peel the onion and chop finely.
Transfer the chopped onion to a bowl. Finely chop the fish fillet and add to the onion.
Finely chop the dill and add to a bowl of fish and onions. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Stir all the ingredients of the fish filling.
Cut the loaf into pieces.
Dip each piece of the loaf in milk.
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the loaf pieces in a baking dish. Crush the bread crumb in the center so that a depression is formed in the pieces of the loaf.
Fill the loaf “nests” with the prepared fish filling.
Brush with mayonnaise on top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake nests with fish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
