Open Pie with Cottage Cheese and cheese

I bring to your attention a recipe for a delicious open pie. Curd dough base, hard cheese and cottage cheese filling – well, just a paradise for lovers of curd baking!

Servings: 6

Cook: 1 hour


For the dough:

  • Flour – 160 g
  • Cottage cheese – 100 g
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch

For filling:

  • Grain curd – 150 g (weight without cream)
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Green onions – 1 bunch
  • Sour cream – 4 tbsp
  • Salt – 2 pinches


  1. Transfer the butter to a bowl and melt in the microwave.
  2. Add the egg and regular cottage cheese to the melted butter. If the curd is lumpy, rub it through a strainer. Pour salt here.
  3. Mix the combined ingredients with a spoon.
  4. Combine flour with baking powder and sift into a bowl with curd mass.
  5. Knead the dough with your hands, put it in a ball, wrap it in foil and send it to the refrigerator while the filling is cooking.
  6. For the filling, grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  7. Add eggs and sour cream to grated cheese.
  8. Also add the cottage cheese, after draining the cream from it, and add salt.
  9. Stir.
  10. Wash green onions, dry, cut into thin rings.
  11. Add the green onions to the curd mixture in a bowl. Stir again. The pie filling is ready.
  12. Turn on the oven, let it heat up to 180 degrees.
    Sprinkle the table with flour. Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll out the dough into a round layer, transfer to a baking dish (I used a round silicone mold with a diameter of 24 cm) and shape the sides.
  13. Put the cheese and curd filling on the dough base.
  14. Bake the curd dough pie in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  15. Transfer the finished curd pie to a plate or serving board.
  16. Open pie with cottage cheese and cheese is equally tasty when hot, warm and cooled. Cut the pie into portions and serve.
