Pie with Cottage Cheese, Raisins and Nuts

Pie with cottage cheese, raisins and nuts – large and very aromatic, with rich curd filling and crunchy dough. The curd cake according to this recipe is so easy to prepare that everyone can handle it.

Cook: 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Wheat flour – 320 g
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 5 g
  • Baking dough – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch

For filling:

  • Soft cottage cheese 5% – 500 g
  • Raisins – 100 g
  • Walnuts – 50 g
  • Sour cream 25% – 200 g
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Orange (zest) – 1 tbsp
  • Starch – 30 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Sift flour into a deep bowl.
  2. Add baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar to the flour. We mix.
  3. Cut the butter into random pieces.
  4. Add butter and eggs to the dry ingredients.
  5. Knead an elastic, soft dough with your hands. Putting the dough into a bun.
  6. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. We transfer the dough to a baking sheet, stretch it with our hands to the size of the baking sheet, forming low sides.
  8. Let’s start preparing the filling.
    Put cottage cheese in a bowl.
  9. Add eggs, sour cream, sugar and salt to the curd.
  10. Beat with a mixer until smooth.
  11. Sift the starch into a bowl with curd filling. We mix.
  12. Using a fine grater, remove the zest from the orange without touching the white peel.
  13. Add the zest to the curd filling. We mix.
  14. Grind the nuts in a blender or with a knife.
  15. Rinse the raisins thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  16. We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
    Spread the curd filling evenly on the dough.
  17. Spread the raisins on top.
  18. Sprinkle with nuts.
  19. We bake a pie with cottage cheese, raisins and nuts in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes. After the specified time has elapsed, turn off the oven and open the door slightly. Leave the curd cake inside the oven for another 10 minutes. Then transfer the cake to the wire rack and let cool slightly.
  20. Before serving, cut the curd pie into portions.
