Ingredients

  • 4 chicken leg (s)
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato (s) (pizza tomatoes) à 00 g
  • honey
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Fry the chicken legs in butter and oil on both sides. Remove from pan and fry onions and garlic. Put the legs back in the pan, add the tomatoes, cinnamon and ginger, season with salt and pepper and cook covered over a low heat for about an hour.
  2. Season to taste with salt, pepper and honey and stir in the almonds and sesame seeds before serving.
  3. It goes well with baguette or couscous.
