Pastries “Baskets” from Shortcrust Pastry with Protein Cream

A very tasty dessert for a festive table – cakes “Baskets” from shortcrust pastry, with protein cream.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 270 g
  • Butter (chilled) or margarine – 100 g
  • Eggs (yolks) – 3 pcs.
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Vanillin – to taste
  • Protein cream
  • Fresh cherry (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Cut the cooled butter with a knife or grate it on a coarse grater. Add sugar, egg yolks, baking powder, salt, vanilla and flour to the butter.
  2. Knead the dough and place in a bag. Put in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  3. Place the shortbread dough on a floured surface.
  4. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
  5. Using a glass or a special shape, cut out circles. Distribute the basket blanks into the cupcake tins. Put the forms on a baking sheet and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
  6. Cool the finished shortcrust pastry baskets and remove from the mold. Then, using a pastry syringe, fill the sand baskets with protein cream. Decorate the cakes “Korzinochki” with fresh cherry with stalks.
  7. Enjoy cooking!
