Ingredients

  • 2 egg (s)
  • 2 tablespoon cream, skimmed
  • 1 tablespoon sorrel or chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil (thistle oil)
  • 50 g jerky meat or ham, sliced or diced
  • 100 g potato (s), boiled, cold, sliced
  • 40 g Cheddar cheese, medieval, rated (Tilsiter tastes ood too)
  • 1 small onion (s) or shallot
  • 1 pickle (s) if required

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs with the cream, sorrel or chives and cheese.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the jerky meat or ham or bacon until crispy. Remove the jerky meat and fry the potatoes in the pan with this fat together with the onions until golden brown. Add the egg mixture and sprinkle with the bacon. When the omelette is fried on one side, turn it over and fry the other side. Serve immediately and add a pickled cucumber if necessary.
  3. Usually does not need seasoning.
  4. Have a cup of coffee with it, some will think of Grandma.
