Ingredients

  • 2 bunch fresh basil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoon pine nuts
  • 4 tablespoon parmesan, grated
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the basil. Pluck the leaves and roughly chop them. Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop them with the pine nuts. Pound everything in a mortar to a smooth paste.
  2. Add the parmesan. Add the oil spoon by spoon and stir until the sauce is creamy. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Goes well with pasta and potato dishes.
