Instructions

  1. Knead the flour with the salt, 2 eggs and the lard to a firm dough. If necessary, add a little water. Chill the dough for 1 hour.
  2. Wash the chard and parsley and cut roughly. Then sauté in the melted lard until soft. Let cool, put in a sieve and squeeze out. Add the grated cheese. Then stir in 3 eggs and season everything as needed.
  3. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out 24 circles. Grease 12 muffin tins and line them out with 12 of these dough circles. Pour the chard filling into the mold and smooth it out. Brush the edge with a little water, cover with a lid and pinch both layers of dough together at the edge. Cut a small chimney into the top sheet of dough so that the steam can escape. Brush the lid with a mixture of the last egg and the milk so that everything turns brown and shiny.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 15 minutes.
  5. Sufficient for 12 pieces.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
