Ingredients

  • 2 glasses plum (s)
  • cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 vanilla pod, which the pulp
  • cornstarch
  • some cold water
  • bitter almond aroma or some amaretto

Instructions

  1. Put some plums aside and cut into small pieces. Puree the remaining plums with the juice, sugar and vanilla sugar in a saucepan and then bring to the boil.
  2. Mix the cornstarch with cold water and add to the boiling plum puree to thicken. Stir everything well. Take the pot off the hob. Add vanilla pulp and amaretto or almond flavor and season to taste.
  3. Add the plum pieces and stir gently. Tastes very tasty when served warm with buttermilk waffles or ice cream.
