Ingredients
- 350 g flour
- 1 teaspoon yeast (dry yeast)
- 125 ml milk
- 80 g butter, soft
- 1 egg (s)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 1 packet poppy seed baking mix
- 750 g plums, halved and pitted
- 125 g powdered suar
- 3 teaspoons lemon juice

- Dough: mix flour with dry yeast. Warm the milk, add the butter, egg, sugar and salt to the flour and knead into a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise until it has doubled. Preheat the oven to 200 ° (convection: 180 °).
- Knead the dough well again. Roll out 3/4 of the dough and place in a greased springform pan (26cm). Press on a 3 cm high edge. Spread 2/3 of the poppy seed mixture on the dough base. Shape the rest of the dough into two thumb-thick rolls. Place one roll right along the edge, place the second (smaller) roll in a small circle around the middle.
- Place the plums tightly in the spaces between the rolls. Spread the rest of the poppy seed mixture on both rolls. Bake the cake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice to a glaze and coat the rolling pin on the cake with it after baking
