Potato Casserole with Meat and Tomatoes and Cheese

The vegetable and meat casserole is a wonderful two-in-one dish. The meat and onions for this casserole are pre-fried, and the potato slices are boiled for a short time, which allows them to be completely baked.

Ingredients
- Beef (pulp) – 300 g
- Potatoes – 400 g (4 pcs.)
- Tomatoes – 140 g (2 pcs.)
- Onions – 80 g (1 pcs.)
- Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp
- Hard cheese – 200 g
- Sour cream – 200 ml
- Butter (for greasing the mold) – 15 g
- Dill greens – 20 g
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Peel the potatoes and chop them into thin slices.
- Put the potato slices in a saucepan and cover with water, put on medium heat, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and boil potatoes for 5 minutes. Then remove the pan from the stove and add water.
- Cut the beef into small cubes. Peel the onion and chop it in half rings. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion half rings until light golden brown.
- Put pieces of meat on the onion and continue to fry together until the liquid has completely evaporated. Wash the tomatoes and chop them in semicircles.
- Grease a baking dish with butter. Place half of the potato slices on the bottom of the mold.
- Put 100 ml of sour cream on the potatoes and distribute it evenly over the surface of the potatoes. Then add the meat and onions and salt.
- Put the remaining potato slices on the meat. Fill the potatoes with the remaining sour cream. Next, layout the chopped tomatoes evenly. Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Rinse the dill and chop finely.
- Spread the cheese and dill evenly over the tomatoes. We will send the form with the future casserole to the cold oven, which we will immediately turn on 180 degrees. Leave the casserole in the oven for 20 minutes – until golden brown cheese crust (be guided by the characteristics of your oven).
- Potato casserole with meat and tomatoes and cheese is ready. Immediately cut the potato casserole into portions, arrange on plates and serve.
