Ingredients

  • 300 g chicken breast, sliced
  • 200 g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 red pepper (s), cut into strips
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 150 g cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, or oil
  • Flour
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly chicken stock, to be poured on

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast the chicken breast together with the onion in oil or margarine. Add the mushrooms and bell peppers and cook for about 5 minutes. Dust with sweet paprika, add ketchup. Season with salt and pepper. If necessary, add a little chicken stock and simmer gently for about 10 minutes until the juice thickens a little.
  2. In the meantime, stir the cream with a little flour until smooth. Tie the sliced meat with the cream and flour mixture and let it steep for a moment.
  3. Serve with pasta, rice, spaetzle or hash browns.
