Ingredients

  • 4 sheets gelatin
  • 1 medium lemon (s)
  • 250 g quark, (low-fat quark)
  • 50 g powdered suar, sifted
  • some lemon juice
  • 250 g cream
  • 2 tablespoons cognac or
  • milk

Instructions

  1. Soak the gelatine in cold water. Rub the lemon peel.
  2. Mix the quark, powdered sugar, lemon zest and juice. Whip the cream almost until stiff.
  3. Warm up the cognac or milk and dissolve the gelatine in it. Stir into the curd mixture with the whisk. Carefully fold in the cream.
  4. Fill into molds (cups), refrigerate for 2 hours.
  5. This quark dessert can be combined with any kind of fresh fruit, compote or red fruit jelly.
