Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 4 egg (s), separated
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar
  • 500 g low-fat quark
  • 80 g soft wheat semolina
  • 1 large can peach (s)
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

  1. For a baking dish of approx. 28 x 18 cm.
  2. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees top / bottom heat.
  3. Drain the peaches well and cut into wedges. Beat the egg whites with the whisk of the blender until stiff and set aside.
  4. Also use the whisk to stir the smooth butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Gradually stir in the egg yolks. Finally stir in the quark and then the semolina. Finally, carefully fold in the egg whites by hand with a whisk. Fold in the peaches, put everything in the buttered baking dish and smooth out a little.
  5. Bake the casserole on the middle rack for about 50 minutes. Cover with parchment after about 30 minutes so that it doesn`t get too dark.
  6. Tastes hot and cold.
