Curd Casserole with Semolina

The curd casserole prepared with this recipe is perfect! A casserole is prepared elementarily from simple and affordable products. Semolina is added to the curd mass, due to which the casserole has a rather dense structure.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 300 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 60 ml
  • Semolina – 30 g
  • Sugar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Butter – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Pour the semolina into a bowl and pour over the milk.
  3. Stir the semolina with the milk and set aside in the bowl. While we are working on cottage cheese, the semolina will swell a little.
  4. For this casserole, grate the curd through a metal sieve. Do this piece by piece. The softer and fatter the cottage cheese, the easier it is to grind. This step is very important for a perfect casserole, so don’t skip it. Turn on the oven and preheat to 180 degrees. Transfer semolina with milk to grated cottage cheese. We drive in an egg here, add sugar and salt. Mix the ingredients until you have a smooth curd mass.
  5. Grease the sides and bottom of the baking dish with butter. Pour the curd mass into the prepared dish and smooth the surface. Cook the curd casserole for about 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees. Let the casserole stand for 5-7 minutes and cool slightly. Then cut it into portions and serve.
