Curd Casserole (without Flour and Semolina)

This curd casserole does not contain the usual flour or semolina, but only starch, as a result of which it turns out to be tender and airy. Very similar to a delicate curd soufflé!

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese (5% fat was used in the recipe) – 500 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 2 tablespoon. heaped spoons
  • Sugar – 7 tablespoon. level spoons
  • Vanillin – 1 sachet
  • Cornstarch (potato can be used) – 2 tablespoon heaped spoons

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar using a whisk or hand blender. If you wish, you can beat separately the yolks with sugar, and separately the whites with salt on the tip of a knife. Then the casserole will turn out even airier.
  2. Add cottage cheese, sour cream, and vanillin.
  3. Mix everything well with a blender again so that the cottage cheese is homogeneous, without grains.
  4. Add cornstarch last and mix everything (now with a spoon).
  5. We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes. (When determining the readiness of the cottage cheese casserole, we focus on our oven individually).
