Curd Casserole without Flour, with Yogurt and Bananas

An uncomplicated and original dish based on cottage cheese is an appetizing cottage cheese casserole without flour, with yogurt and bananas, which even looks more like a delicate soufflé than a regular casserole. An interesting base of bananas, when baked, becomes very tender, acquiring some kind of amazing honey flavor. Great breakfast or afternoon tea!

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Bananas – 3 pcs. (360 g)
  • Cottage cheese – 200 g
  • Yogurt without additives – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 80 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Vanilla sugar – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold) – 1-2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Put soft cottage cheese in a deep bowl and break the egg there.
  2. Add yogurt. Pour sugar and vanilla sugar into a bowl and stir.
  3. Mash the mixture thoroughly with a fork or beat with a mixer for about 2-3 minutes, until smooth.
  4. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. I have a shape with a diameter of 26-28 centimeters. Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise. Place the bananas in a single layer on the bottom of the tin.
  5. Pour the curd over the bananas.
  6. Send to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, and bake for about 35-45 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Then cool the finished curd casserole, remove from the mold, and gently transfer to a dish. Sprinkle icing sugar on the casserole if desired and serve.
