Ingredients
- 2 heads radicchio
- 125 g bacon, smoked
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- salt
- pepper

- Wash, clean and pat dry the radicchio.
- Finely dice the bacon. Let the oil get hot in a pan and fry the diced bacon in it. As soon as they are nice and golden brown (just crispy), add the balsamic vinegar and stir well.
- Add the bacon sauce to the radicchio salad and mix well. Season to taste with pepper and possibly a little salt.
- Arrange on a platter or in a shallow bowl.
- The salad goes well with grilled meat or fish.
- I love to sprinkle a few pieces of walnut on top and / or - depending on the main course - add a few wedges of apple or pear next to it.
