Red Cabbage Casserole with Green Peas and Cheese

I suggest making a casserole with red cabbage, green peas, and cheese. We knead the batter with kefir, combine it with chopped cabbage, frozen peas, and pieces of cheese and send it to the oven. Ingredients

  • Red cabbage – 200 g
  • Green peas (frozen) – 100 g
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Kefir – 100 ml
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 3 tbsp
  • Ground turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Soda – 1/3 teaspoon
  • Butter – for greasing the mold

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products. We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  2. Cut the cabbage into small squares. Put the cabbage in a bowl, add a little salt. We mash the cabbage with our hands. Cut the cheese into cubes.
  3. Add cheese to the cabbage. Pour in green peas. Add the garlic passed through a press. Separately, in a deep bowl, combine eggs, kefir, flour, and turmeric. Stir until smooth. Add salt, baking soda, and ground pepper.
  4. Pour the batter into a bowl of cabbage, peas, and cheese. We mix. We spread the prepared mass in a baking dish, greased with butter. We send the form to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Cooking cabbage casserole with cheese and green peas for 40 minutes.
  5. Bright red cabbage casserole with green peas and cheese is ready. It remains to cool the casserole and serve as an independent dish or as an addition to meat dishes. Before serving, cut the casserole pie into portions.
