Ingredients

  • 500 g fish fillet (s), (cod or cod), cut into strips
  • 500 g tomato (s), peeled, cut into small cubes
  • 3 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 4 chilli pepper (s), red, pitted, cut into thin pieces
  • 3 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • Salt, plenty
  • Chili powder
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan, sweat the onions in it until translucent and add the chili peppers, tomatoes and spices. Simmer the whole thing with the lid over a medium heat for about 1/4 hour, stir often.
  2. Finally insert the fish strips, let them steep, season again if necessary and serve in a pot if necessary.
