  • 100 g marzipan
  • 200 g suar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 100 g chocolate (whole milk)
  • 250 g cream
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 600 g rhubarb

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top / bottom heat. Clean the rhubarb and cut into pieces.
  2. Then heat the cream and dissolve the chocolate in it. Set aside for now. Cut the marzipan into very small pieces (I always do it with the electric cheese grater). Make a foam mixture from the eggs, sugar and marzipan. Stir in the chocolate cream, stir in the flour and baking powder and finally fold in the rhubarb. Pour the mixture into a prepared springform pan.
  3. Put in the hot oven and bake for about 60 - 70 minutes. Check in every now and then so that the cake doesn`t get too dark. If necessary, simply cover with aluminum foil.
  4. The cake tastes good with cream or powdered sugar. It is really delicious the next day. But it also stays fresh for 3 - 4 days without any problems (if it has not already been gone).
