Ingredients

  • 100 g rice
  • 600 ml milk
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 125 ml whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon raisins
  • 2 tablespoon rum
  • 2 tablespoon brittle
  • Sugar, ad libitum
  • Brittle:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon oatmeal, tender, heaped
  • chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Pour the rum over the raisins.
  2. Bring the milk with a pinch of salt to the boil, stir in the rice, simmer on a low heat for approx. 25-30 minutes until soft, stir frequently and add a little more milk if necessary. When the rice is finished cooking, there should be no more liquid, let it cool down.
  3. In the meantime, prepare the brittle:
  4. Heat the butter, brown the sugar in it lightly, add the oat flakes and roast the oat flakes while stirring, then leave to cool.
  5. Beat the whipped cream firmly, the cold rice, 2 tablespoons. Brittle, stir in the rum raisins, sweeten as desired.
  6. Pour some chocolate sauce on top and sprinkle the remaining oat flakes over it.
