Ingredients

  • 200 g quark
  • 6 tablespoon milk
  • 8 tablespoon oil (125 ml)
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 egg (s), possibly
  • 75 g butter

For the filling:

  • 200 g raisins
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 100 g almond (s), chopped or chopped
  • Flour for the work surface
  • Milk, for brushing
  • Cake icing, powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Mix the quark with the milk, oil, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. You can also refine the dough with an egg that you simply stir into the quark. Mix the flour and baking powder, stir half of it into the dough, sift the other half over it and knead. If the dough is very sticky, refrigerate for a while. Roll out the dough on a well-floured work surface into a rectangle of approx. 40 x 50 cm and brush with the butter.
  2. Mix all ingredients (raisins to almonds) for the filling well and distribute evenly on the dough. Carefully roll up the longer side, cut into 16 even pieces and place them in a wreath-like shape in a greased springform pan so that the entire base is covered. Are there gaps that flatten snails slightly. Brush with milk and bake at 200 ° C for about 35-45 minutes.
  3. If desired, you can glaze the cake with a powdered sugar glaze or sprinkle with cinnamon / powdered sugar.
