Ingredients

  • 650 g beef roulade (s)
  • 2 tablespoon mustard, hot
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 garlic clove (s)
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 250 g bacon, mixed
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 glass paprika, roasted (about 300g)
  • 150 g pickled cucumber (s), hot
  • salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 2 bottles sauce, (steak sauce)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 300 g cream
  • some parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. The ideal guest dish. You can prepare it the day before, and when the guests are there, just put it in the oven.
  2. Halve the roulades lengthways and cut into strips. Put the meat in a sufficiently large freezer bag. Mix the mustard with the oil in a cup and pour over the meat. Close the bag and mix everything well and let it steep in the refrigerator for approx. 2 hours.
  3. In the meantime, peel and roughly dice the onions and garlic. Cut off the rind from the bacon and cut the bacon into fine strips. Fry in a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil, remove and then fry the meat in it. Season with salt and cayenne pepper.
  4. Quarter the cucumber lengthways and cut into pieces. Remove the bell pepper from the jar, drain and cut into strips. Put everything with the seared meat and bacon in a bowl, add the sauce and mix well. Cover the bowl and let everything sit in the refrigerator overnight.
  5. Put the next day in a baking dish, stir in the sour cream and cream. Cover the mold with aluminum foil. Braise in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for approx. 90 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
  6. Arrange on plates and sprinkle with parsley.
  7. For this I make pretzel dumplings and salad.
  8. The above amount is enough with side dishes for 4 - 5 people, with white bread for 3 people.
