Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg plum (s)
  • 3 cans cola, e.g., Red Bull Cola
  • 1 liter tomato ketchup
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 2 lemon (s), add the juice
  • 4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoon curry powder (Madras curry)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil frozen or fresh plums with the cola (it doesn`t necessarily have to be Red Bull Cola) for about 1.5 hours on a low heat to a third. Puree everything at the end.
  2. Then add curry powder, tomato paste, Worcester sauce, cayenne pepper, squeezed lemon juice and ketchup and bring to the boil again, then season with salt, pepper and possibly curry.
  3. The sauce can be filled into glasses or frozen very well.
