Ingredients

  • 800 g sunflower seeds
  • 400 g suar
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon oil, neutral

Instructions

  1. Roast the sunflower seeds dry in a pan, let them cool and turn them 3-4 times through the meat grinder until a very fine mixture is formed.
  2. Heat the sugar and flour in a pan, stirring constantly, until a darker mass is obtained. Then add the water and boil a syrup.
  3. Mix the syrup with the sunflower seeds and add the oil. Pour into a baking dish and press in well with your hands. Put in the refrigerator for several hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Tip: Any leftover halva must be stored in the refrigerator.
