A funny snake sandwich is a fun idea not only for the delight of children but also for decorating the table.
Ingredients
bun 1 pc.
cucumbers 1 pc.
boiled sausage 1 piece
leaf lettuce 1 pc.
sweet red pepper 1 piece
small tomatoes 1 pc.
olives stuffed with red pepper 1 pc.
granular caviar (optional) 2 pcs.
butter to taste or mayonnaise to taste
Directions
Prepare food.
Make a spiral from cucumber using a special device or in this way: cut off the tips of a cucumber and insert a wooden stick or a cocktail straw into the middle (longitudinally); with a sharp knife, carefully cut the cucumber in a spiral with thin turns.
Cut the bun lengthwise into two pieces. Cut the upper part into sections – you will need a large part and two identical smaller parts.
Spread butter (or mayonnaise) on the bottom of the bun. Lay a leaf of lettuce and a slice of sausage on top, insert a cucumber spiral between them (two or three turns). Layout the “head” of the snake from three sections.
Cut the “tongue” out of a piece of pepper. Insert the tongue between the sausage and the bun. Cut the olive into two halves – “eyes”. Put a circle of cucumber on the “head” and half a tomato on top. Lay down the “eyes”.
You can make “pupils” from eggs or, for example, from a piece of cucumber peel. (If you wish, you can also make “teeth” for the snake from pieces of salted straw or cheese.
