Sandwich with Blue Cheese and Walnuts

A wonderful, unusual sandwich that uses two types of cheese, nuts, green onions, and … a little brandy.
Ingredients
- White toast bread – 6 pieces
- Walnuts – 100 g
- Cream cheese – 200-250 g
- Blue cheese – 70-80 g
- Green onions – 1 bunch
- Brandy – 40-50 ml
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Directions
- Grind walnuts (in a mortar).
- Finely chop the green onion.
- Mix cream cheese and blue cheese.
- Add brandy. Mix.
- Add nuts and stir again.
- Add onion, salt, and pepper. Stir again.
- Fold the pieces of bread in pairs. Cut off the crusts.
Put cheese mixture thickly on one slice of bread. Close with a second slice of bread. - Cover the sandwich with a clean cloth (napkin) and crush with a rolling pin.
