Sandwiches with Egg and Onion Spread

A simple and affordable spread for egg sandwiches, fried onions and herbs. A slice of bread with such a delicious and aromatic spread is a wonderful addition to a cup of tea or coffee. Great breakfast or snack!

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 6 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc. (100 g)
  • Green onion – 2 arrows
  • Fresh dill – 4-6 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 20 ml

For filling (optional):

  • Bread – 2-3 slices

Directions

  1. We prepare products according to the list.
  2. Put the eggs in a saucepan or stewpan, fill with water, add 2-3 pinches of salt, set on maximum heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 8 minutes. Then we cool the boiled eggs, pouring them with cold water.
  3. Wash green onions and dill, dry and chop finely with a knife.
  4. Peel the onions, wash and cut into small cubes.
  5. We clean the boiled eggs from the shell, put in a deep bowl and knead into crumbs with a fork.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. stirring occasionally, fry the onions over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until light golden brown.
  7. We send the fried onions to the egg bowl.
  8. Add chopped green onions and dill. Salt, pepper and stir.
  9. A simple and budget spread for boiled egg, onion and greens sandwiches is ready.
  10. We serve it to the table on slices of bread.
