Ingredients

  • 500 g sauerkraut, mild
  • 80 g celery, finely diced
  • 150 g bell pepper (s), reen, finely diced
  • 100 g onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), green, medium hot, finely diced
  • 180 ml white wine vinegar
  • 200 g suar

Instructions

  1. Bring the finely diced vegetables with sugar, vinegar and sauerkraut to the boil and cook for about 30 minutes until the liquid has reduced as much as possible. Stir at the same time.
  2. Fill the relish hot into screw-top jars.
  3. Lasts up to a year unopened and tastes great with grilled meat or cheese.
