Ingredients

  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • a bit salt
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 75 ml olive oil
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 125 g sheep cheese
  • 12 olives, black, without stone

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the sheep`s cheese and quarter the olives. Mix the flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add eggs, oil and milk and work into a smooth batter. Finally fold in oregano, sheep cheese and olives. Bake at 160 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  2. Modification:
  3. Cut 125g Gouda into cubes and fold in. Season the dough with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the muffins with about 75g grated Gouda cheese before baking.
