Ingredients

  • 1 packet yeast
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 6 tablespoon milk, warm
  • 50 g mararine, melted
  • 150 g quark (20%)

For the filling:

  • 2 onions)
  • 2 cloves garlic, or more
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • parsley
  • 200 g sheep cheese
  • 3 tablespoon yogurt (whole milk)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Process the dough ingredients into a smooth dough. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, finely chop the onions and garlic and sauté in butter. Add parsley, mashed sheep`s cheese, yoghurt and egg yolk and season well.
  3. Roll out the dough thinly and cut into 12 squares (10 x 10 cm). Spread the filling on top, brush the edges with whisked egg white and fold up. Brush bags with egg yolks whisked in water. Let rise for 20 minutes.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
