Simple Crème Brulee

The recipe for the classic creme brulee dessert, which bears little resemblance to what you buy at the Ice Cream kiosk.

Cook: 4 hour

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 4 Pieces
  • Vanillin – 1 Art. the spoon
  • Sugar – 4 Art. spoons
  • Brown or vanilla sugar – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Heavy cream – 450 grams
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. Separate the egg yolks and place in a tall beating bowl.
  2. Pour sugar and cream into a separate bowl, stir without whipping, and place in the microwave for 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Beat the yolks, but not until frothy, but just to mix them.
  4. Mix the yolks with the microwave creamy mixture.
  5. Pour the prepared mixture into 6 baking tins (it is better to take porcelain ones, because in them you will serve dessert on the table). Place in a deep baking sheet and pour water into it so that it reaches half of the molds.
  6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Let the dessert cool and refrigerate for 2-3 hours (preferably overnight). Immediately before serving, pour vanilla or brown sugar onto the surface of the dessert and melt it with a pastry burner.
  7. When the sugar melted into caramel spreads on the surface of the dessert, you can start enjoying the delicious dish. For showiness, you can melt sugar in front of the eyes of intrigued guests.
