Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 5 medium egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 200 g suar
  • 200 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g almond (s), round
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 200 ml mineral water
  • 1 small Bottle / s rum aroma
  • 200 ml vegetable oil

For the filling:

  • 200 g jam (sour cherry jam)
  • 1 small Bottle / s rum aroma

For the glaze:

  • 1 bar chocolate couverture, dark
  • 50 g chocolate flakes, white
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the remaining ingredients for the dough and mix everything into a creamy mixture. Put the dough in a greased springform pan and bake at 175 ° C for about 50 - 60 minutes.
  2. Remove the cooled cake from the mold. Now use a long knife to carefully divide the cake horizontally in the middle. Mix the jam with the rum flavor and stir again until smooth. Spread the mixture on the bottom floor and leave about an inch or two to the edge. Put the lid back on and carefully press it on.
  3. For the glaze, cover the cake with dark couverture and decorate with white chocolate shavings.
