Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork goulash
  • 1 glass applesauce with pieces
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 onion (s), roughly diced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 ½ glass apple cabbage
  • Sauce thickener, darker

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except the sauce thickener in a roasting pan with a lid. Place in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about an hour.
  2. When the meat is done, remove the bay leaf. Season to taste with salt and pepper and thicken with a sauce thickener.
  3. According to the Dutch tradition, French fries go well with it. We usually eat the Zuurflees with dumplings or spaetzle.
