Ingredients

  • 200 g spaetzle
  • 250 ml cream
  • 12 cherry tomato (s)
  • 0.5 ½ large onion (s)
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 1 ½ slice / n Gouda
  • some basil
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper
  • 2 pinches beef broth
  • some cayenne pepper
  • some oil for the pan

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaetzle according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Dice the onion and tomatoes. Steam the onion in the pan until translucent. Add the tomato pieces. Steam for about 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Cut the cheese into small pieces and add to the pan with the cream. Press the garlic, finely chop the basil and add to the sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper, beef broth and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 3-5 minutes while stirring.
  4. Arrange the spaetzle on plates and pour the sauce over them.
