  • 8 egg (s)
  • a bit salt
  • some nutmeg, ground
  • Herbs, mixed (determine amount as required)

Instructions

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and season with salt.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, nutmeg, herbs and eggs together well.
  3. It should be a tough batter.
  4. Use a knife and a board to scrape small spaetzle from this mixture into the boiling salted water.
  5. If they swim to the top, take them out and immediately soak them in cold water (in a separate bowl).
  6. Take out and serve or recycle.
