Ingredients

  • 200 g speculoos (butter speculoos or spiced speculoos)
  • 375 g butter, soft
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 1 orange (s), the grated peel it
  • 500g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 125 ml milk
  • Fat for the shape
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold
  • 1 pck. Dark chocolate
  • 1 pack couverture, light your choice

Instructions

  1. Break the speculoos into small pieces. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Beat eggs one by one. Fold in the grated orange peel. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk. Fold in the speculoos breadcrumbs. Grease a Guglhupfform and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour in the dough and smooth it out.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for approx. 60 minutes.
  3. Take out and let cool down. Melt both cake icings separately in a hot water bath. First brush the cake with the dark couverture, then occasionally cover a few thin sprinkles of the light couverture.
