Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g fructose
  • 80 g honey
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 300 g flour, (wholerain spelled flour)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 125 ml milk
  • 200 g apples, rated

Instructions

  1. Beat butter with fructose, honey, rum, cinnamon and vanilla sugar until very frothy. Gradually stir in the egg yolks. Beat egg whites into snow. Mix wholemeal spelled flour and baking powder and stir into the yolk mixture, alternating with milk and egg whites. Finally, mix the grated apples into the batter.
  2. Pour the dough into a greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 50–60 minutes. Let the Gugelhupf cool down and turn it out.
  3. Sprinkle with icing sugar, cover with grated apples and sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
