  • 250 g butter, room temperature
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 300 grams flour
  • 2 ½ tablespoon baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon deer horn salt
  • 1 pack gingerbread spice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 200 ml milk, lukewarm

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the eggs and the sugar to a loose mass. Then mix the dry ingredients together and alternately add tablespoonfuls with the milk to the butter-sugar-egg mixture. How much milk you ultimately need depends on the size of the eggs. The dough should be a little tougher than a sponge cake dough.
  2. Spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 175 degrees top and bottom heat for about 20 minutes. Then let cool down a bit. Then the cake can be decorated as you like.
  3. Our favorite is the Ulmer with chocolate icing and colorful sprinkles.
