Ingredients

  • 375 grams flour
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 packet yeast (dry yeast, 7g)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • 75 g butter
  • 100 ml milk, (more or less depending on the type flour)
  • pepper
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 250 g salami
  • 250 g cheese (Gouda)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour with yeast and mix with 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, salt, 1 pinch of sugar, soft fat, lukewarm milk and a little pepper to form a dough. Knead the dough well and cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil until translucent. Finely dice the salami and cheese (I make both briefly in the moulinette). Mix everything with an egg white.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to approx. 42 by 35 cm. Spread the filling on top. Roll up the dough tightly on the long side. Then cut about 3 cm wide slices. Put these with the cut side up in a suitable greased dish. Cover and let rise for approx. 15 minutes. Bake in the hot oven on the 2nd rack from the bottom at 180 ° -200 ° for 35-45 minutes.
  4. They can be taken apart very well like bread rolls.
  5. You can bake them very well beforehand, freeze them warm and, if necessary, briefly bake them in the oven.
