Squid with Broccoli, in Soy Sauce

If you are a fan of Chinese food and seafood, and also love to cook in a wok, then this recipe for squid with broccoli is for you. Fried calamari with broccoli, ginger, garlic, green onions, sesame seeds and soy sauce – a fragrant, delicious and quick dish.

Ingredients

  • Squid – 500 g
  • Broccoli – 250 g
  • Green onions – 10 g
  • Fresh ginger – 5 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil – 1 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. We prepare all products.
  2. Cut the green onion feathers into small strips, chili peppers into slices, finely chop the garlic and ginger.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a wok and fry the chopped ingredients. It is necessary that they give their aroma to the oil.
  4. Disassemble the broccoli into small inflorescences and add to the pan. Fry, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, we prepare the squid. I have two types of squid – carcass and already cut into circles. We remove the chitinous plate from the squid, make a longitudinal cut along the squid carcass and from the inside make a mesh along with the pulp with a knife, without cutting through the squid skin to the end.
  6. Then cut the squid carcass into small pieces.
  7. We transfer the chopped squid to the pan and cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring, until all the liquid has evaporated and the squids are soft.
  8. Pour in the soy sauce, mix all the ingredients well.
  9. Serve hot fried squid with broccoli.
