Stew of Pumpkin, Potatoes and Smoked Brisket Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 250 g (peeled)
  • Pumpkin – 250 g
  • Smoked brisket – 200 g
  • Leeks – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 60 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Sunflower oil – 70 ml
  • Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 1.5 cups (300 ml)
  • Dried Provencal herbs – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Bay leaf – 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste

  1. Cut the potatoes, pumpkin, and brisket into not too small pieces.
  2. Cut the carrots into circles or semicircles (depending on the size). Cut the leek into thin slices. Peel and chop the garlic.

  3. Preheat a frying pan with sunflower oil. Fry the leeks and carrots for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add smoked brisket and fry for a couple of minutes.

  5. Add flour and garlic. Stirring, fry for another two minutes.
  6. Add potatoes and pumpkin.

  7. Fill with water, add Provencal herbs, bay leaf, black pepper, and salt.
  8. We put on the fire and cook the vegetable stew with smoked meats for 40 minutes until all the ingredients are cooked.
