- 1 kg strawberries
- 500 g preservin suar, 1: 2
- 5 stalks woodruff

- Wash the strawberries and remove the greens. Quarter the fruit, place in a saucepan and stir in the preserving sugar, bring to the boil. Chop the woodruff leaves and stir in. Turn stove down to medium heat. Now cook for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally until it starts to gel. It is best to do a gel test.
- Fill into glasses immediately, close tightly.
- Tip:
- Lay out the woodruff to dry one day in advance. This allows it to develop its full aroma.
