  • Citric acid – 1 teaspoon

  • Gelatinous agent (Zhelin, Quittin, Confiturka, Zhelfix) – 1 p.

Strawberry Jam Instructions

  1. Sort the strawberries and wash thoroughly.
  2. Peel the strawberries.
  3. Purée 3/4 of all strawberries with a blender.
  4. Add the instant gelling agent and citric acid or lemon juice to the strawberry puree. Boil.
  5. Combine the remaining strawberries with sugar.
  6. Pour the sugar strawberries into the boiling jam. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Pour the boiling confiture into hot sterilized jars.
  8. Immediately roll up the strawberry confiture with dry sterilized lids.
