Stuffed zucchini flowers in the batter is an unusual dish, and it is very easy to prepare it!
Ingredients
Fresh zucchini flowers – 10 pcs.
Cheese – 50 g
Dill – 2-3 branches
Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon
Garlic – 1 clove
Chicken eggs – 1 pc.
Milk – 50 ml
Flour – 2-3 tbsp
Salt – 1 pinch
Vegetable oil for frying – 50-100 ml
Directions
Prepare the filling. The filling can be very different. I have grated cheese and feta cheese on a fine grater. Dill is finely chopped, garlic is squeezed out. I add ground pepper and mix everything thoroughly.
Then I prepare the batter (again, you can make any batter). I have: I mix an egg, milk, and flour. I add a pinch of salt.
Zucchini flowers must be washed thoroughly. You can even soak in water for not 15-20 minutes. Cut off the legs of the flower, remove the pistils.
Carefully place the filling into the flower and close the petals again.
Dip the zucchini flowers stuffed into the batter.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the stuffed zucchini flowers over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on one side.
